By John Kubicek
As you all know, the Christmas and New Year holiday season is a busy time. It probably ranks high in being the busiest time of the year for many of us. It's good, because many of us are making preparations for the time to be with our families.
One of the things I did was to produce the picture you see on the right. (Obviously, I did a little "photoshoppng" on this picture, though it wasn't the PhotoShop program that I used to do this).
While it is slack-off time for some, such as those in the talk-radio industry, it is a very hectic time for others. It's the busiest time of the year on the retail side of the economy. And then there were those like me. We in the New Media wave stayed busy trying to fill in for the holiday "slackers" (those that deserve some time off). While Rush Limbaugh was off in Hawaii having what felt like a heart attack but wasn't, thank God, some of us stayed in tune with all that was going on, like the Senate passing their version of the Health Care Reform bill, and a Christmas Day attempt by a terrorist to eliminate 278 more people from this planet.
So, for those of you that didn't follow the news in the last ten days, because you were celebrating with family and friends, or working your hardest, this one's for you.
December 21, 2009 - Michael Goodwin of the NY Post: We've been attacked from within
Michael Goodwin tells us that we've fought against many enemies in our short lives as baby boomers, but now the real threat to our Freedom is coming from within.
December 21, 2009 - Representative Alan Grayson, and "WATCHING the OTHER HAND"
So, Alan Grayson wants to get the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, to go after a private citizen for putting up a website that bashes him? This is what you call, watching what the other hand is doing. While the health care bill being "legislated" is way over the line when it comes to the Constitution of the United States, an out-of-control Congressman, Alan Grayson from Florida, is trying to unconstitutionally limit the free speech of a private citizen. How bizarre!
Watch the other hand, people like Grayson, that really don't care about your freedom. He is not fighting for you. He is into his own narcissist world view, where he obviously wants his Party to remain in power, and he will do all he can to eliminate your freedom to dissent.
December 26, 2009 - I hope we learn from this
If you are like me, you may have to wonder if we can trust our current commander-in-chief as to fighting the WAR on TERROR. But, should his national security staff just watch this video, they may be able to understand that our enemies want to destroy us, and they are going to keep trying until they get it right.
Is our President and his staff up to the fight?
December 27, 2009 - The War That Isn't Really Over
This is inspired by the feeling that I'm not sure the Obama Administration understands that we are still at war.
December 28, 2009 - Chris Wallace with Joe Lieberman and Pete Hoekstra On Fox News Sunday 12-27-09
This is when we need to all get on the same page. There should be no doubt what can happen if we keeping looking the other way. There is no way the panty-bomber would have made it as far as he did if people had been doing their job.
December 29, 2009 - Taking on the Algore Myth, by a highschool kid
She just wants an unbiased education. Michelle Dewkett explains on Fox & Friends that there is way too much bias in the curriculum, and she wants it balanced. Is that fair? Absolutely, and I salute her fortitude. Michelle Malkin, watchout! This kid has it all together! This was very impressive.
December 29, 2009 - Trace Adkins sings on Fox & Friends ~ "All I Ask For Anymore"
28 DEC 09 ~ Trace Adkins, one of the top Country singers in Anerica, sings on Fox & Friends. What a wonderful song, with soulful lyrics. You do not have to be a Country & Western fan to love this guy and his deep, resonating voice, not to mention the awesome lyrics and the meaning of patriotism and love of family that go with him in his tunes.
FAVORITE OF THE WEEK
Maybe it's because of the season. I chose this one to be my favorite of the week.
December 04, 2007 - Christmas Story - Steven Curtis Chapman - BluefishTV.
