Last Week on TheREALjohnny2k - 12/21 through 12/31/09

By John Kubicek

As you all know, the Christmas and New Year holiday season is a busy time. It probably ranks high in being the busiest time of the year for many of us. It's good, because many of us are making preparations for the time to be with our families.

One of the things I did was to produce the picture you see on the right. (Obviously, I did a little "photoshoppng" on this picture, though it wasn't the PhotoShop program that I used to do this).

While it is slack-off time for some, such as those in the talk-radio industry, it is a very hectic time for others. It's the busiest time of the year on the retail side of the economy. And then there were those like me. We in the New Media wave stayed busy trying to fill in for the holiday "slackers" (those that deserve some time off). While Rush Limbaugh was off in Hawaii having what felt like a heart attack but wasn't, thank God, some of us stayed in tune with all that was going on, like the Senate passing their version of the Health Care Reform bill, and a Christmas Day attempt by a terrorist to eliminate 278 more people from this planet.

So, for those of you that didn't follow the news in the last ten days, because you were celebrating with family and friends, or working your hardest, this one's for you.

December 21, 2009 - Michael Goodwin of the NY Post: We've been attacked from within

Michael Goodwin tells us that we've fought against many enemies in our short lives as baby boomers, but now the real threat to our Freedom is coming from within.

December 21, 2009 - Representative Alan Grayson, and "WATCHING the OTHER HAND"

So, Alan Grayson wants to get the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, to go after a private citizen for putting up a website that bashes him? This is what you call, watching what the other hand is doing. While the health care bill being "legislated" is way over the line when it comes to the Constitution of the United States, an out-of-control Congressman, Alan Grayson from Florida, is trying to unconstitutionally limit the free speech of a private citizen. How bizarre!

Watch the other hand, people like Grayson, that really don't care about your freedom. He is not fighting for you. He is into his own narcissist world view, where he obviously wants his Party to remain in power, and he will do all he can to eliminate your freedom to dissent.

December 26, 2009 - I hope we learn from this

If you are like me, you may have to wonder if we can trust our current commander-in-chief as to fighting the WAR on TERROR. But, should his national security staff just watch this video, they may be able to understand that our enemies want to destroy us, and they are going to keep trying until they get it right.

Is our President and his staff up to the fight?

December 27, 2009 - The War That Isn't Really Over

This is inspired by the feeling that I'm not sure the Obama Administration understands that we are still at war.

December 28, 2009 - Chris Wallace with Joe Lieberman and Pete Hoekstra On Fox News Sunday 12-27-09

This is when we need to all get on the same page. There should be no doubt what can happen if we keeping looking the other way. There is no way the panty-bomber would have made it as far as he did if people had been doing their job.

December 29, 2009 - Taking on the Algore Myth, by a highschool kid

She just wants an unbiased education. Michelle Dewkett explains on Fox & Friends that there is way too much bias in the curriculum, and she wants it balanced. Is that fair? Absolutely, and I salute her fortitude. Michelle Malkin, watchout! This kid has it all together! This was very impressive.

December 29, 2009 - Trace Adkins sings on Fox & Friends ~ "All I Ask For Anymore"

28 DEC 09 ~ Trace Adkins, one of the top Country singers in Anerica, sings on Fox & Friends. What a wonderful song, with soulful lyrics. You do not have to be a Country & Western fan to love this guy and his deep, resonating voice, not to mention the awesome lyrics and the meaning of patriotism and love of family that go with him in his tunes.

FAVORITE OF THE WEEK

Maybe it's because of the season. I chose this one to be my favorite of the week.

December 04, 2007 - Christmas Story - Steven Curtis Chapman - BluefishTV.

Last Week on TheREALjohnny2k - 12/14 through 12/20/09

By John Kubicek

Updated December 23, 2009. I realized today, when I read the original version, it was incomplete, and barely comprehensible. I must have been tired and in a hurry to get it posted. I apologize to my readers, and I hope this edition will be much better!!

Earlier today, I read a great piece by Barbara Simpson, "2010, here I come." She writes:
I've been thinking about my resolutions for 2010, and I've decided this year I will make some and live up to them! It's been a long time. I've decided to be more courageous.

Part of the reason is that I've seen what's happened to my country, and I don't like it. I've seen what the silent censorship of political correctness has created, and I don't like it. I've seen that young people simply don't know about our greatness and how we attained that – not because they're dumb but because they deliberately have not been taught.
Barbara has it so right! I've made a resolution, too, for the same reason. There are changes that I've been working on that I want to share with you today.

It was just ten years ago that I came up with the brilliant idea to start my own website, johnny2k.com. The website went online on January 3, 2000, I believe. My original theme was helping people work from home, using the internet. I fully expected to become a dotcom entrepreneur millionaire within months. I put it all on the line. And then, three months later, we saw the beginning of the dotcom fallout. Al Gore's "invention" wasn't quite working out so well for many dotcom investors, and the bubble burst. It was at that time that I saw the writing on the wall, and my dream of a large financial gain was also vaporized.

Well, fortunately, I've found a greater purpose along the way. Like Barbara Simpson, I haven't liked what I'm seeing, especially in the last 11 months since The One has taken office. So, using the skills that I've developed over the last ten years, it will be my purpose to make sure that the "sheople" are better informed. And on the other side of the coin, I realized that there are many of my fellow patriots that are much better equipped than I when it comes to the ability to adequately inform the masses. So what do I do? I have decided to specialize in finding ways to get more of you exposed to the vast resources now available on the web that just may help us preserve our freedom.

So, what could be a better time to make a transformation, while we see the new decade arrive? The new johnny2k.com will be focused on that one goal, to make sure that you are aware of what is facing America. I will use all of my abilities to show that we are becoming dangerously close to totally losing any freedom that we've enjoyed for the last two centuries. While I am still allowed, I will do all I can to make sure that you are informed of how our freedoms are being diluted.

How much can I do? Over two and a quarter million views of my youtube videos that I've posted in the last three years told me that I may be able to HELP make a difference. Close to 50,000 views of my various forum posts and blogs may mean that there are others out there that also have a desire to understand what is going on. I've been dedicating myself to providing you with information that will help to connect all of the dots. I plan to continue that mission in the next decade, for as long as I'm allowed.

On that note, please allow me to present the following videos to you, even if I'm just preaching to the choir.

December 14, 2009 - Mark Ingram of 'Bama: Heisman Trophy Winner - He knows who to give the credit to!

Ain't it great! Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram knows who to give the credit to: God, family, and team! I am very happy for him!

December 14, 2009 - "I'm in command. Just follow my lead." Do we have a choice?

In a preview of the 2010 edition of "24", Jack Bauer says, "I'm in command. Just follow my lead." Well, that sounds familiar, doesn't it? What a way for them to tell us that some fringe-group tree-huggers are going to be running the coming One World Government, for our own good, of course.

December 17, 2009 - Michelle Malkin on Fox and Friends - Dec. 17, 2009

Steve, Gretchen and Brian talk to Michelle Malkin about a variety of topics.

They start out discussing the health care reform legislation, where Senator Tom Coburn's use of procedures to force the Bernie Sanders Amendment to be read, which results in the amendment being withdrawn.

The next subject to come up is how Ben Bernanke could end up being the Time Magazine Person of the Year. That was pretty weird, as Michelle will explain.

It will keep getting even more outrageous, though. The Govenator takes on Sarah Palin on the climate (apparently he hadn't heard about Climategate)... The climax is what somebody wants to do, like legalizing all illegal immigrants.

December 18, 2009 - Too much information online? A mom tweets right after her son drowns in pool.

A mom has a strange way of reacting after her son his found at the bottom of their swimming pool. She not only twitters about that a half hour after he is found, but then again right after he is pronounced dead.

Dr. Jeffrey Lieberman, Chairman of Columnbia Univ. Psychiatry Dept. discusses the way society is headed because of the social media, and what it may mean that people share so much proprietary information about their lives online.

December 19, 2009 - Just enjoy Andrea Bocelli singing White Christmas (while our country goes down the tubes)

I had so many mixed feelings today. While I wanted to start enjoying the Christmas holiday season, I was finding out that Sen. Ben Nelson (Democrat) of Nebraska decided to go with the Senate version of Health Care Reform, whatever that is (because we haven't seen it yet!). It was very depressing. I have that feeling that WE the People LOST.

December 19, 2009 - The 12 Days before Christmas by the Kenosha WI Police Dept.

Hey, is it just me, or is it Christmas? I don't want JUST a white Christmas, but also one that is very Merry for all of you Santa Claus fans like me! Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

December 20, 2009 - GOOOH Tim Cox! Tim is the founder of GOOOH - Get Out Of Our House

This is about defeating all incumbents in the House of Representatives. Is that really a good idea? You decide.

December 20, 2009 - December 20, 2009 - John McCain on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace - Part 1

This is a time when to use a football analogy, the Republicans - and We the People - are backed up on their own goal line.

December 20, 2009 - December 20, 2009 - John McCain on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace - Part 2

(Again, I repeat...) This is a time when to use a football analogy, the Republicans - and We the People - are backed up on their own goal line.

FAVORITE OF THE WEEK:

From PatrioticToDaBone: December 22, 2007 - Ronald Reagan Christmas address (12/23/81)
In a world of political correctness and Christmas culture wars, Reagan's national address is almost unbelievable! It is a breath of fresh Christmas air! What happened to the politicians like him who are not afraid to hold fast to the Christian faith despite what others think or say about their Christmas beleifs? God help us by sending more like him back into our country! The challenge: will you speak like this the next time you are given opportunity to speak about your faith? Last Week on TheREALjohnny2k - 11/02 through 11/08/09

By John Kubicek

I apologize for a little delay in getting done with this weeks installment of Last Week on TheREALjohnny2k. I had to take Monday off for some post-op outpatient recovery time.

As it turned out, there was no shortage of events and issues that I tried to cover last week, and it was almost overwhelming. There was no shortage of clips that I had collected regarding the House vote on the health care scam last Saturday in the dead of night. There wouldn't have been time for me to post all of them to youtube, and you wouldn't have the time to watch them all, either. However, I didn't entirely push the issue aside, being that there are episodes for you to see below where some important people give some excellent commentary about what the Health Care legislation is REALLY about - and it ain't about your health. (The correct answer would be: Government control of your life from cradle to grave.)

What I humbly was wrong about, in the initial moments when the news was breaking on the tragic shootings at Fort Hood, was that it would just end up being a bunch more psycho-babble about crazed killers and the need for gun control. That didn't prove to be the case, however, as it opened a very big can of worms that is going to be an issue that should receive the large amount of attention that it deserves. I'll just give you a hint, though, I think you'll agree that this is way more of a case than an Army Major "snapping."

Last, but not least, is the fantastic video that I included at the end, in my FAVORITE OF THE WEEK segment. It's almost a half hour long, but you should watch it all, and take notes if you have to. This video was also included in my other blog, and was a definite big hit. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend seeing it here on this page, though, after you see all of the videos I've included on this page. It seems to tie them together - you know, as they say - it will help you to connect the dots that I provided to you last week!

November 02, 2009 - Fred Thompson talks about NY23 and Doug Hoffman vs the Republicrats

In the NY 23 race, there was a choice of voting for a Democrat or a Republican, or a Conservative. The Democrat and Republican represented the same exact principles. There was no choice for a conservative voter. Along came Doug Hoffman, who filled that void.

November 02, 2009 - It's about We the People - Rush Limbaugh: "Let's Bring More In"

November 1, 2009 - Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace: Rush Limbaugh's wisdom shines with the Chris Wallace Interview on Fox News Sunday. In this video, excellent segments of the interview are put together for one outstanding display of common sense from the conservative side.

November 03, 2009 - Glenn Beck vs Scozzafavian Republicrats

This clip is from Monday, November 2, 2009. And yet, I did not upload it until after the election returns were in. WHY? The answer is obvious: I did not want to influence the election - for the better OR for the worse. There are mixed messages in this segment.

November 04, 2009 - More than a sneeze - Glenn Beck exposes the supposed good economic news

There are some of us that don't really believe that the American economy is recovering. It isn't time to start celebrating, even though Republicans won the elections for Governor in Virginia and New Jersey. And an independent nearly took down the Republicrats in NY23. How good is that?

But, don't celebrate just yet. The economy, it is still in a shambles. There has been no recovery. The 3rd Qtr gain in the GDP was a sham. Government programs only moved future gains into that quarter; and just in time for elections. Mmmm Mmm MMMM!

No, the recession is NOT over!

November 04, 2009 - The bad news about the Health Care legislation; Rep. Bachmann organizes a "House Call"

Nov 04 09 - Glenn Beck is out, and Judge Napolitano fills in. Matthew Spalding explains the history of health care legislation, where Progressives began pushing for it 100 years ago. And then, Michele Bachmann tells about the town hall gathering on the steps of the Capitol.

November 06, 2009 - Gretchen Carlson asks Geraldo the BIG QUESTION: Is There Political Correctness In the Military?

The weekday Fox & Friends hostess Gretchen Carlson will never cease to amaze me. She's got the spunk to ask Geraldo the question of the day. To paraphrase, she asked Geraldo if the military overlooked the problem because of Hasan's religion. In my words, was there a case of political correctness that prevented the red flags from being investigated? Should that be the way to fight a war against people that want to destroy this country?

November 06, 2009 - News of the week: Chris Wallace comments on Ft Hood, Unemployment, and Election 2009

While checking to see what is coming up on Fox News Sunday, Fox and Friends get Chris Wallace to give some opinions about several ongoing topics that have been in the news this week. This was an unusually long segment for the weekly tease that Fox & Friends does with Chris. Was that because they knew that Rush Limbaugh wouldn't be bringing in the viewers like last week, or was it because of the incredibly important stories that are going on this week? You decide!

November 08, 2009 - Something for Dad

Veterans day is coming in just a few days: This Wednesday, actually.

This is for all the people - men AND women - serving our country overseas, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan! This is for you! Thank you!

November 08, 2009 - Was it an act of Terrorism? Or did the Major just snap like the Liberals want you to believe?

My first impression was that it was another guy that snapped, and those stories are coming at us way too often. I wasn't going to mention the story... That was until I was starting to hear that it may have had to do with Islamic terrorism. Well, maybe...

What do you think?

MY FAVORITE OF THE WEEK:

Video provided by KCtheKat - Overview of America
John McManus narrates a moving tribute to America and discusses the history of what makes America great and how only we, as informed citizens, can keep the timeless concepts of Americanism alive.
