Joe Biden: Mark my words...

I just returned from my one day retreat in Madison, Wisconsin, and a night off from work, to celebrate my "Christmas In July," my annual celebration of when I was given life, and when the Unites States was born.

The first four days of July, though, is my favorite time of the year, second only to the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. Anyway, it was very nice to get away for a day. I greatly enjoyed my annual retreat up to Madison, especially since I had to miss the trip last year, somewhat due to the horrible Flood of 2008 in Cedar Rapids and nearly $4.00/gallon gasoline... and no job. I'm back home now, and need to get right back to work.

So, let's get started with this: Over the last months, I've been wondering what Joe Biden was talking about with his famous statement that he made in October of 2008, during the Presidential campaign, when talking to campaign contributors, as transcribed by Fox News from the Hannity and Colmes on October 21, 2008:

JOE BIDEN, (D) VICE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE: Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We are about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old president of the United States of America.

Remember I said it standing here, if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we are going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. He's going to have to make some really tough — I don't know what the decisions will be — but I promise you, it will occur.

As a student of history that has served seven presidents, I guarantee you it's going to happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate.

So, assuming that Joe-the-gaff-machine was talking about Obama's first 6 months in office, I wanted to know what he may have been talking about, when he said: "I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate." While the story about Biden's "prophesy" was widely covered, I think very few people realized what Biden said really wasn't that big of a head scratcher. Senator Joe Lieberman said it best: "SEN. JOE LIEBERMAN (I), CONNECTICUT: Our enemies will test the new president early. 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration." You see, Biden's comment was more of a statement of fact, rather than a prophesy. Most of our Presidents have been tested in the area of foreign policy early in their first term.

And here we have North Korea being overtly aggressive in "testing," as in possibly two nuclear tests, and their multiple missile tests (including the four short range missiles they launched today). That certainly seems to be testing Obama to see how he reacts. (I haven't seen anything from him other than a rare statement from various government spokesmen.)

And then, Obama is also dealing with the situation(s) in Iran. One situation is the good possibility that Iran's nuclear program could be covertly directed toward a weapons program, though Iran insists that it is for a "peaceful" reasons, for nuclear power plants. (Obama seems to have done nothing yet, other than to offer a little insignificant rhetoric that hasn't made any difference.)

Of course, there are also the demonstations following the election in Iran. (See above; and Obama really never came out and supported the citizenry of a tyrannical Iran... and now, it is barely covered in the news media. Is the situation over? Or, did the tyrannical Mullahs of Iran just stomp out any dissent?)

The jury is still out when it comes to how Obama handles or has handled these situations. But mark my words, remember I wote it here, if you don't remember anything else I wrote here (like about my annual retreat to Madison, Wisconsin), "Watch, we are going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. He's going to have to make some really tough — I don't know what the decisions will be — but I promise you, it will occur." And this could happen in the next few weeks, or even days.

This might be a good time to quit being obsessed with Michael Jackson, or other fallen stars (either the celebrities that have assumed room temperature or the Govenor that ran off to Argentina), and start watching how Obama is handling plenty of world events that may be of great danger to our national security. It's time to be following these events that may be potential threats to this nation. We can not afford to be burying our heads in the sand.

I think it's time to also be praying, both for the recently deceased celebrities, and for the decisions that Barack Obama has to ultimately make. We must pray that the "brilliant 47-year-old president of the United States of America" makes the right decisions when he is tested (in progress now).

The Obamacide of the United States of America

In a column by Doug Powers this morning, "Life of Riley vs. Life of Brian", I learned a new word: "Obamacide." Now, his use of the word was different than how I am using it. But hey, there are many words that have multiple meanings, right? In the context of this writing, I am using a derivative of the original meaning of the word, coined by Doug, as he expresses in the following:

In Texas, a man committed suicide and left a note asking Obama to "take care of my family," highlighting how the creation of a hopeless dependency culture breeds pitiful indigent lemmings who some days are too depressed to even suck the public teat. Because of this, I coined the word "Obamacide," and I sincerely hope it doesn't catch on.

Sorry, Doug, but the cat has already been let out of the bag. It's too late now. It will likely take on a life of its own now. Only in my expression of the word, "Obamacide," it refers to the millions and millions of people that voted for a person that wants to take away our means of defending our freedom. And I'm not just talking about taking away our arms, but that is where it starts, as shown from a section of CHANGE.GOV, as seen below:

So, am I wrong? Does it seem like there are enough people that would fall for another attempt to limit our ability to arm ourselves? Why did so many people vote for Barack Obama? They either knew very well what would happen, or they had no clue. Actually, take your pick. It was both. The propaganda of the far left worked. Enough people drank the kool-aid. It was mass Obamacide.

And now, there is another problem. A main stream media that will say or print anything (or nothing...take your pick). They seem to be mostly the rabid supporters of the President-elect. There were things they knew about, but neglected to share with us. Oh, but if it was somthing that is anti-Palin, even if it wasn't true, or not verified, it went to the press, above the fold, or headlining the various liberal-slanted networks, or thrown out there by the Soros-produced websites. Well, let's see, how could they? Why would they? Well, here's an example I'll be willing to bet never makes it to page one, above the fold, but maybe those questions will be answered:

Believe me, I am not so sure that this was a matter of the press being duped. They may have been fully aware of what was going on. Just think about that. If you think somebody got one by the press, that the media didn't verify the source.... How do we really know that they didn't know? "A truly trained reporter would know it," says the guest Fox News contributor, Liz Trotta. They didn't check out the story, because maybe they didn't want to. Maybe it wasn't simply neglect to do their jobs. They should have known how to verify the source. But, the story was just too good, and they figured they could get away with it. They drank the kool-aid. The main stream media commited mass Obamacide.

Alone, neither of these stories may have mattered to the masses. When they are combined, though, it is something that should set off the alarms. There is a problem here. I'm just saying that there are dots to be connected.

There are those people that WANT to take away our means of defense, and those that will pretty much believe all that the MSM tells them. And who controls the MSM? Why are there some in power that want to resurrect the "Fairness" Doctrine? And they are also the ones that will probably lead the way to more infringements on our 2nd Amendment rights?

Just say "NO!" to the Obamacide of our freedom of speech. That will be the only thing to prevent the Obamacide on our 2nd Amendment right to arm ourselves. And that would be the Obamacide of our freedom, and the end of the United States of America, as prescribed in our Constitution.

Just say "NO!" to Obamacide, and don't drink the kool-aid!

On Taxes, Patriotism and Selfishness

I may not have been a Mike Huckabee fan in the past, but I am now. Here is a clip from last Saturday night's show that just blew me away.

Wow, just watching the first minute of this clip made me want to wretch, and that was along with muscle spasms - the painful kind - going up my leg. Yes, I'm talking about that clip of the Obama speech. Obama is behind in the news. Many of us have already been trying to provide evidence that Barry is a commie. And I would not be telling you about this, except that there is overwhelming evidence of his far-leftist leanings. As in Communism.

If Obama is elected, it will prove Nikita Kruschev was right when he basically stated that we would bury ourselves. Little by little, like how you boil a frog, Americans would contiinue to accept and demand incremental steps toward Socialism, until we were Communist before we even knew it.

Really, I'm just getting started. There is so much I want to write about today... There's videos to produce and upload to youtube.com... It's really a matter of too much to do and not enough time to get 'er done now. So, I just want to say one last thing in this post, just in case time doesn't allow any further rants. Are you ready for this? Are you going to be able to handle this?

We are already in a state of Socialism. Oh, maybe it is compassionate socialism, but it's already being done. We have so many social programs, there should be nobody that is starving or lacking shelter. We have ADC and school lunch programs for the kids. There is rent assistance. Food stamps. Medicare. The ability to buy a house without the means to pay for it.

Now, though, we have a candidate that wants to take it a few steps further, only now, should it happen that Obama is elected, we'll see the difference between compassionate socialism and Communism. If America becomes the ObamaNation, you'll soon find out that dissent will not be allowed. As long as the government is given that kind of power over your lives, and then they change the Constitution of the United States so that government is given power over your lives for "your own good, because they know better than you"... Yeah, you get my drift, right?

There is so much at stake, I could never rant long enough. I'm going to take a short break and hopefully be able to add more to assist you in making the right decision tomorrow.

Oh, Joe, gotta go

"Umm... uh.... sorry, but, ah... uh, picking a good VP part of my ticket to the White House.... well, uh.... ummm..... may have been above my pay... um, pay... ummm.... pay grade. Uh, sorry Joe, ummm... you gotta ... Uh, J-J-Joe, hang on.... call waiting thing... be right back with ya...."

After fumbling around with hitting the right button on the, uh, keypad, and after another puff of the cigarette burning up in the ashtray, Barry finally gets switched over to his call waiting thing....

"Hey, Hillary, whassup girl? Hang on a sec..." (Barry, actually hitting the right button on his cell to switch back to the previous call).... "Oh, Joe, gotta go"

The Joe Biden Gaffometer has been going off the charts lately. Is it, I don't know, but, can I say intentional? Did the ObamaNation realize the huge error that they made? Hillary supporters crossing the aisle to support McCain? Lots of questions should be asked, and have been.

If Joe Biden was appealing a decision of the EEOC, to keep his job as the VP wanna-be, he would lose. He has already admitted that Hillary would be a more qualified candidate:

So, Mr. I'm-a-Harvard-grad-and-Community-Organizer, what do you do now? Wow, with the Biden Gaffe Machine going full speed, how are you going to spin this? And shouldn't you do something really drastic, now, as in before that Oct. 2 debate with Sarah Palin? You know darn well, don't you, that Joe will be telling Sarah that she would be a much better choice as a VP by the end of the debate? Wouldn't things be much more interesting with a debate between Shrillary and Sarah Barracuda? Wow, move over, WWE! By golly, can you imagine them on at the same time on "The View" or "Oprah"? Move over, Jerry Springer!

Okay, before I split your brain in half with all of the revelations, most that will come true... please allow me a moment to congratulate the NL Central Division Champions, the Chicago Cubs. What a year! Barry, you should have had Jim Hendry as your mentor. Maybe then you would have known how to pick the right personnel for your campaign! ... Sorry, I'm having a Bob Uecker moment... Joe Biden was not a good choice to begin with, even if the Obamanation now turns to Shrillary. It is the lack of Barry's executive experience that would scare me.

What is happening to Joe Biden? Is Joey readying himself for an ejection from the race?

His comments about Hillary’s qualifications to be vice-president or even president have me wondering what is going on.

With Obama journeying to Bill Clinton’s Harlem office, to “kiss the ring”, is the stage being set for Joe’s exit and Hillary’s return?

It is evident that neither Hussein nor Joey can close the sale to the American public. This Palin phenomenon has taken the Democrats by surprise and they are reeling from the affects of this choice that McAmnesty-Cain has made.

I am pleased to see that the Palin-surge is working. I am still having some difficulty in pulling the lever for Johnny McCain, and I even wish that the roles were reversed, where it was vice-presidential candidate McCain and presidential candidate Palin. That I could go for, in a heartbeat.

As we listen to Sarah talk about conservative ideals, which I dearly love to hear, we are hearing far too little from John McAmnesty. He is letting Sarah do all the talking, getting the voters all excited. What will actually happen if John does get elected? Will it be Sarah’s ideas that come to the forefront, or will John’s old liberal self re-emerge and his policies to take center stage, with amnesty legislation for tens of millions of illegal aliens?

Well, enough of the McCain problem, I need to get back onto Joey Biden’s problem. It appears that he is being set up for the fall here. Hussein Obama cannot take the blame for his own failures. Therefore, Joe will have to fall on the sword to make way for Hillary’s triumphant return.

I sincerely hope that I am wrong here, but the hard evidence is too hard to ignore.

All I can say is bye, bye Joey. Hello Hillary!
