The Lack of Fairness Doctrine

By John Kubicek

Remember the good old "Fairness Doctrine"? Are you aware that there are people trying to get it revived? Do you know that it would also apply to blogs, the way "they" want it done?

And who are the "players" involved in this plot to void the First Amendment? Could it be the power brokers in the shadows, that call the shots? That tell Rick Warren what to ask and what not to ask?

Now, think back a few days ago, what was called the Saddleback "Civil Forum on the Presidency". Though it did a great job defining the two candidates, there was a lot lacking at the Lame Saddlesore Discussion show.... What bothers me to this day is the absence of certain topics that never came up. Should I list them? Okay, here it is, the topics that should have been covered by the questions from Pastor Rick Warren:
  1. What are your views about illegal immigration? Should we do more to secure our borders?
  2. How do you feel about keeping America as a sovereign nation? Yes, this is a question that relates to your patriotism or lack thereof.
  3. Are you in favor or against the revival of the Fairness Doctrine?
  4. Please explain what you think the 2nd Amendment means in relation to civilian gun rights.
  5. Do you feel that homeschooling should be encouraged or discouraged?
  6. Where do you draw the line when it comes to balancing national security with our rights to privacy?
  7. Last, but definitely not least, what would your energy policy be? Would you put environment and fighting global warming over America's need for energy? How would you solve the problems with energy that we are now facing?
You see, that was the problem. None of those questions were asked. I'm not saying that the other questions Pastor Rick asked were bad, even though one of the questions was over a certain candidate's paygrade. However, without knowing their views on the topics I've listed, did we honestly learn that much about the candidates last Saturday night?

And, most of all, why weren't any of those seven topics I listed above included? Is it because they would have said the same thing? Would those have been issues that they would have agreed on? Hmmm.....

Also, it's interesting that in the last few days, I didn't hear any of the pundits mention the fact that none of those questions were brought up, and are still unanswered. It seems that those may be the questions that several third-party candidates would have very good answers to. So, that also leads me to the next question about the Lame Saddlesore Discussion show: Why weren't there any of the 3rd Party candidates invited to it? Of course, a quick reply would obviously be because of time constraints. Okay, then couldn't it be spread out over several evenings?

Yeah, it's too bad "THEY" didn't think of that... "THEY" may have had to allow the truth to be exposed, but it would have been a good money-making opportunity for "THEM".

But I DID think of this, and I AM going to capitalize on this opportunity. I challenge Alan Keyes, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin to make their comments on the subjects that I listed above. In fact, I even invite Juan and the Obamassiah to add their spin to these subjects. I will post them here on this blog should any of you want to let America know your views on the TRUE ISSUES that weren't covered last Saturday night.

Better Living Through "Chemergy"

By John Kubicek

Well, if anyone were to ask me at this moment how I'm doing, I'd have to use Dave Ramsey's famous line, "Better than I deserve!"

So, how could I be so happy today, despite the rising prices of food, and fuel for my car?

Oh, for sure, anyone that gets all their news from the main stream media, would have to be depressed - except for the fact that oil prices had dropped dramatically in the last few days.... Wait, you didn't hear that?

But wait, believe it or not, that is NOT the news that is making me so happy today! Do you really want to know what IS making me so happy? Ecstatic? How about a lot of alcohol! No, not for my own personal consumption, but something as an alternative fuel to feed to our vehicles.

What I heard somebody talk about last night on the radio was the perfect antidote to Al Gore's rage about global warming. Did you hear or read all of what Al Gore said? Just to summarize it, the news headlines mentions that Al Gore feels that we should and can be "100% Carbon Neutral by 2018"! That's a great idea! Algore was 100% correct for the first time in his life!

Huh?

Allow me to explain, please. At a good old liberal website, http://www.ecogeek.org/, the whole Al Gore philosophy of blaming America and Free Enterprise just came down to a crashing end. While The truth really is that it will be America AND Free Enterprise that will keep us all going for another generation or two!

While Al Gore was making his usual lame claims that we are all doomed, he really did say the right things, and that is we need to get off the addiction, the habit, of using "fossil" fuels in order to live. We really need to quit importing oil from countries that want nothing more than to see our way of life fail. (Our FREEDOM makes them look bad, right?) So, don't you think we should cut back on our life-styles, our way of driving the SUV's, of being so blatantly selfish? Should we continue to torment the rest of the world in our way of exploiting the hydro-carbon resources so available in every other part of the world? And in our part of the planet?

No, I know, you think that the answer I'll provide is that we need to Drill, Drill, and Drill some more! I've been accused of feeling that we should sacrifice our "pristine" environment in order just to maintain our lush lifestyles. And maybe until last night, you could have been right!

True, that is like the garlic to vampires, to believe that real people could not in any way give up our freedoms or our lavish life-styles. Why, shouldn't we all know by now, that burning all these hydro-carbon fuels, supposedly created by dead dinosaurs, would make the world too warm for us to survive?

The Al Gore global-warming hysteria really never affected me. Really, it didn't, but I needed to make a big point of it, for a very positive reason: What I heard said last night just made all the more sense to me. We all know about the energy problem we are in right now. One side says to drill, drill and drill to slash our dependency on foreign oil. The other side says that we need alternatives to oil - really cool stuff like renewable sources, such as wind and solar generated electricity. In fact, I heard about a guy, just yesterday, that says that power can be produced by riding those various exercise machines at the health center!

We have all learned, though, that we need an energy source that isn't going to leave that big-foot sized carbon footprint. Isn't that the goal? To reduce the amount of carbon that we release into the atmosphere? Then, why aren't more people listening to a genius like David Blume? Oh, who's he?

David Blume is an Ecological biologist who realizes the "importance and benefits of alcohol-based fuels, and how the petroleum industry has suppressed their development." I am no environmentalist, but I do believe in preserving the environment through conservation, which includes the full use of our natural resources in an economical way. I found out that we don't have to produce energy by taking all the corn we can produce and making it even more difficult for agricultural enterprises to afford to feed their cows and chickens.

I could write about this all day, but I don't need to. David Blume has done all the work for me, already! What I heard about last night, based on his book, "Alcohol Can Be a Gas", blew me away, and it'll do the same for you! Everything I heard about it made me realize what an opportunity that true entrepreneurs really have in this country!

Our answers to the energy crisis - to paying $4.00/gallon for gas for our transportation - will not be solved by Congress passing legislation, and the President signing them into laws. It has NOTHING to do with the government, as a matter of fact. David Blume has given us information for US to use, at the grass-roots level. What I heard was totally opposite of the bitterness, the class-envy, that we are all used to thinking about - for those that listen to nothing but the lame-stream news (MSM)....

Can we beat the energy crisis? You bet we can!

Can we find energy that doesn't further pollute our environment? You bet we can!

Can we convert bio-mass into energy without keeping people from giving up that one vital need we have, to eat food? YOU BET WE CAN!

So, are you ready to make a difference? (And no, I'm not talking about anything but "Change")... Do you want to be a revolutionary? What I heard David Blume tell George Norre, and US last night, will do just that: eliminate our dependence on oil coming from countries that are not our friends, and at the same time, offer many new opportunities for those of us that feel we can take care of ourselves; we don't really NEED the government to take care of our only need... which is why this article may or may not ever see the light of day!

The Big Tent Is Becoming Green

By John Kubicek

It is supposedly Spring here in Iowa. Normally, I'd be in shorts by this time of the year, out mowing the lawn, and getting the sunburn that I should be trying to avoid. But this year? While we've had a few nice days, I'm still wearing a sweatshirt and had to turn on the HEAT this morning! So, just believe me, there are far fewer people living in Northern areas of America that will go along with the "Global Warming" malarky, especially after the brutal Winter many of us recently experienced.

And yet, there are those that want to keep playing along with the "Global Warming" song and dance. The most appalling aspect of this is that many of the "believers" in climate-change-caused-by-man are coming from the what was once called the Christian Right. Sadly, they are now part of the Green Religion Movement.

This situation of a large part of the right wing base of the GOP moving to the "center" has been no accident. Just watch the following video, and you'll understand what I am saying:

Now, if you think back about a year ago, who was the presumed Republican Party nominee for President? All the pundits were picking Rudy Guiliani at that time. However, he proved to be way too far to the left for a large part of the Conservative base of the GOP. The powers-that-be couldn't convince Conservative Republicans that they could wrap their arms around a pro-gay marriage, anti-gun, pro-abortion candidate. They found an alternate candidate that was still in the "center", John McCain. And they found that they attract more people into the Big Green Tent by utilizing the global warming scam.

So, is it just me that thinks the tainting of the Republican Party was purposeful? With the coronation of John McLame as the new "savior" of the party, the global elitists (the "shadow government") were able to find their guy. They have all of their bets covered now. The Green Movement was all that they needed to pervert what I had previously believed was the party of the Conservatives, the GOP. When so-called evangelical churches were coerced into showing algore's "Convenient Lies" movie, I knew it was all over.

With the video that I embedded in this edition, I was able to provide you with the information that you need to witness the outright re-invention of what the Republicans are supposed to stand for. The GOP is being re-branded before our eyes. And I am not falling for it.

Just where to take Project HAVOC is now the biggest question. My friend Joseph Farah explained "why McCain must lose" in his column the other day. And then Vox Day chimed in, with "Poison is no antidote," and seemed to have pounded the final nail into the coffin of the GOP, saying:
If the Republican Party is not going to go the way of the Whig, it must reject the call to continue on its current path to becoming the nation's second socialist party and instead dedicate itself to becoming the party of individual liberty, small and limited constitutional government, sound money and peaceful national sovereignty that many once believed it to be.

The Republican nominee, John McCain. should lose in November; Farah desires it, and Vox Day explains it. The problem is, they are both picking the Democrat nominee, most likely Barack Obama, to win the November election. Their pessimism is aggravating!

Are we going to take it laying down? Shouldn't we, the Conservatives, have an alternative? Is there an alternative out there that would ever have a chance as a 3rd Party or Independent candidate? Or, do we have to pick between the choices that are being shoved down our throats by the GOP and dhimmicrats? Is there a way to escape from the Big Green Tent?

(And by the way, if you are wondering about the JFK 2008 picture above, it is the symbolic representation of the "Unknown Mystery Candidate" and in no way represents anyone in particular, though I did use my own initials...)

I'm Seeing Red Whenever I See Green

I'm Seeing Red Whenever I See Green

By John Kubicek

It all started Monday morning when I saw Barbara Simpson's column, "Global Gorecaster's 'green' lies infect popular mag". Barbara hit the ball out of the park on this one. When I submitted this story to Digg.com, I described it as follows:

Barbara Simpson writes about the Apr 28 Time magazine cover, which desecrates the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph by Joe Rosenthal of Marines raising the stars and stripes on Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima during World War II by replacing the Flag with a tree. The theme of the edition is "How to Win The War On Global Warming." And it gets worse...

Not long after reading the awesome column by Barbara Simpson, I was treated with even more ammunition to get my blood boiling. While watching America's Newsroom on Fox News, they had a news segment on this travesty. It brought to even brighter light what Time magazine did that alienated the few thousand, or maybe a few hundred, subscribers they had that had fought at Iwo Jima and survived. Their cover on the issue to celebrate Global Warming just made my day. Not Earth Day, but MY day!

So why does this video "make my day"? That is easy to explain.

I've always believed that the Green Movement has always been a major scam on the people of this world. There have been people that have tried to debunk the scam, to shed light on the creepiness of the sinister effort to reduce our freedoms. Yet, there has been so much attention in the mainstream media on the problem of "global warming", even the New Media has had it's challenges with getting any attention, in our attempts to show that movement is a sham. The Global Warming DENIERS just haven't been able to get any credibility, no press coverage. Not until NOW!

With EARTH DAY having been on Tuesday, there could not have been better timing for the Time "Blunder of the Year". In the cause of the "Green Movement", the environmentalists went too far. They exposed one factor that many people tend to forget while gulping down the global warming kool-aid.

The Green Movement has not just been happenstance. There has always been an insidious purpose for it, right from the beginning. It has always been about how the global elite needed a way to control the U. S. economy. There has always been a desire to redistribute the wealth of the United States to the world. The global elite have always wanted to acquire control over the American people. Algore's inconvenient lies were a big part of how to scare the public into submission. It took time, but eventually the shrill pronouncements that the world was in danger of dire disasters because of global warming caused by man - and really, the American man - took hold.

Their plan had been succeeding, until now. We're seeing the results. Just when the Liberals really needed to be hiding the causes of many of our problems, the MSM slips and puts a spotlight on the real agenda they've had all along. When Time replaced the Flag of the United States of America - Old Glory - with a redwood tree, they messed up. When they brought to light their real agenda on the lame Time magazine cover, they finally slipped. Their arrogance has been exposed. And just who did they upset? U. S. Veterans, to begin with.

Thanks to Barbara Simpson for bringing this travesty to our attention. And Fox News quickly followed suit with an assist with the news segment you saw above. What they have done has been to get the truth to many more people, to the point where it goes "viral". Many people, such as myself, will be writing about this in our blogs. Shortly after coming across this story, I began this post.

We started hearing talk of a recession several months ago. Most of the news of a coming recession began when the real estate bubble began to burst. With many Americans being a paycheck or two from foreclosure, the world financial markets began to lower their desire for the American dollar. Because of that, the price of oil started going up. At the same time, the American farmer was finding that the price of corn was going up in order to sustain the production of ethanol. And now, that is leaving less land to grow other foods. Now, food prices have begun to go up, and there have been riots around the world, caused by a global food shortage. Add to that, with the cost of fuel going up, it will now take food prices even higher because of the increased cost of production and transportation.

I'm seeing red, because all of this could have been avoided. We had the opportunity to drill for oil in ANWR, but it wasn't allowed. The same people that have propagated the global warming swindle are also responsible for preventing us from becoming energy independent. I'm seeing red.

We're now growing more corn, but it isn't for food. More of it is being used to make more ethanol, to save our environment. It's supposed to be the "green" thing to do. And now, people are starving. Food prices are rapidly increasing because much of that corn that would have been used for feeding livestock is now in demand for the purpose of keeping us from the inconvenient lies of the global climate change, The demand for corn has given farmers more incentive to grow corn, rather than other needed products in our food chain. I'm seeing red.

When I say that I'm "seeing red", the first thing to come to mind is "anger", right? While that does fit with the theme of this post, that isn't the only meaning. In fact, there probably are many people that aren't old enough to remember the good old days when the Communists of the Soviet Union and China were called "Reds". That's the RED that I see when I see GREEN. When the global elitists say "going green", what they are really referring to is "going red".
