Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio? Paul Simon wrote that line long before Joltin Joe had left and gone away from the planet. He was figuratively asking where all our true heroes have gone, because in the 60s when he wrote the song we needed heroes and didn’t seem to have any.

Right now we need Leaders and don’t seem to have any; at least any that seem to understand the need to show concern for the problems and issues of the people.

The President is supposed to be a leader. A leader of all Americans and the free world.

Our current President reminds me of the little kid playing baseball who always wanted to pitch and finally got his opportunity and says “look at me mom and dad, I’m pitching” and then gets shelled. It doesn’t matter to him because the only thing that does is that he is the pitcher. The outcome of the game isn’t important. His teammates aren’t important.

The only thing that matters is he is the pitcher. That’s all that is important to mom and dad and his other followers as well. It doesn’t matter how good of a job he is doing.

To Mr. Obama’s defense he is not the first that this has happened to in recent years. The last George Bush started out strong as a leader and was remarkable through 9/11 and the days that followed. Somewhere in his second term he just seemed to run out of gas and no longer possessed the same qualities. It might have been even sooner.

Clinton was more of a “Teflon Bill”. The good times we had during his administration probably had little to do with him. The balanced budget was probably because of Newt Gingrich and the rest of Congress.

Sometimes, it is better to be lucky than good. A true leader would never be caught with his pants down as often as Clinton was. A true leader would not embarrass us like he did.

The first George Bush just seemed too far out of it at times. He really never connected with the American people. Maybe, it really was that silver spoon.

Good men in many ways, all of them, but just not the leaders we need in the White House.

Ronald Reagan was a remarkable leader from bell to bell. The best (by far), I can remember in my lifetime. He led because he possessed the wisdom necessary for the position. He could connect with people on all levels. He was truly concerned about making it a better country and a better world.

The Presidency isn’t as much about policy as it is leadership. It matters not if you are conservative, liberal, middle of the road, or something else. Can you lead? Can you put confidence in the American people? Can you portray the United States as a strong yet compassionate country?

Reagan had it all. I’m not sure if Obama has any of it!

I have to confess, I voted for Barack Obama because I thought he might possess Reagan type leadership.

So far, he has failed me and the rest of the people of the United States of America!

I am not Rush! I do not want him to fail. I want him to succeed. Just like I always want everyone the American people put in a leadership role to succeed.

I am not controlled by party politics like so many in our country. My only hope is for our country to get better.

On the top of the pyramid of the Great John Wooden’s “Pyramid for Success” it says, “Do your best when your best is required and your best is required everyday”.

That’s what I want out of our leaders. That’s what I want out of the United States. Now more than ever our best is required.

We cannot be at our best when our chief leader does not have his eye on the ball.

The Olympics for Chicago in 2016 means practically nothing to the success of this nation.

Yet, on the very day when unemployment rates were announced at the highest rate in 26 years, just a couple of days after our commander in Afghanistan revealed the embarrassment for all Americans that he had talked to the President only once; where was Barack Obama? In Copenhagen, hoping to further his “Rock Star” image by being there to celebrate the announcement of Chicago winning the Olympics for 2016.

Right now our President is drowning in arrogance!

While many are terribly hurting in this country, while young men and women are dying and being permanently maimed on battlefields in different parts of the world our President and other leaders stick to politics as usual.

What’s the hurry on healthcare? We certainly need some kind of reform. Americans deserve affordability. However, we do not need a plan that is rammed down our throats without input from all sides.

Let the soup cook before you serve it. Let us decide if the soup is ready to eat or if it needs more or less ingredients. Don’t tell us how great it is before we have a chance to decide.

It seems to matter to our leaders only what happens to them politically and not what happens to “We the People”.

Our political system is sick and it is making our country sick as well. Unfortunately, “We the People” keep treating the symptoms instead of the disease.

The disease is that both parties want control of the people. The only difference is they want to control the people in different ways.

So, what do we do? We treat the symptoms with a pill in the form of the vote that changes the symptoms every few years. The problem is when we cure one symptom the others come back and so forth. We are in a vicious cycle that can only end in death. Death to the great country of the United States of America!

We can still save the patient, but we must begin to treat the disease. You treat the disease by taking a new course of action with new leaders with a goal for them and the country to do their best everyday for the people of the United States and the Planet Earth.

We must quit being controlled by the Democratic and Republican parties and their special interests. We must elect leaders not associated and controlled by either party. That is the treatment for the disease.

That is how we save the great country of the United States of America!

It has to begin with all of us!

How About: While They Are There

I had doubts that I would see anything on the news this morning that would ever be worthy enough to take the time to upload to youtube. I had no desire to spend time video blogging about what a scumbag Dave Letterman is. In fact, that is now a well known fact that I really wanted to erase from my mind. It was not an image that I wanted to have stuck in my head.

And of course, there was that big attempt for Chicago to get the Olympics in 2016. There is now the great sadness...please bow your heads... that Valerie, Michelle, and Barack won't be getting rich on that great land deal that they thought was in the bag... Oh. I digress.

It surely pains me to see the Iran nuclear issue go by without my comment at this time, but seriously, I'm sure that most of you already know what a complete failure the Obama policy has been.

Mmmm mmm mmm, Barack Hussein Obama, you've been rejected!

And what a shocking story that would be to be telling you about now, except for the fact that there are many more important issues that have been rejected and ignored by Obama and his minions in the state-run media.

Being that I was not really all that enthusiastic about any of the stories of the day, I decided to take my time getting home from work this morning. I really didn't come across anything last night that deserved any mention. But the timing turned out to be perfect. When I finally arrived home, I found out about a musical tribute to our troops that was going to be playing in the last few minutes of Fox & Friends. I fired up my recording gear, and was able to get some video that was suitable for producing and uploading to my youtube channel.



Mmmm mmm mmm, Barack the Olympic Failure. While that is such a "tragic" event, that Chicago was eliminated (Obamanated in this case) from the Olympic considerations for 2016, there is another major tragedy going on that nobody else is covering today.

At this time, Barry the Obamanator is seemingly ignoring the need to make a decision about our strategy (or lack of it) in Afghanistan. His general on the battlefront appealed for the needed manpower and resources to prevent defeat. "Wait a minute, general," Obama seems to be saying, "getting the 2016 Olympics in Chicago is extremely vital to our national security."

Of course, the state-controlled media is keeping that story at the front of the line, while our fighting men and women are left hanging, not even knowing if their mission will be allowed to continue. How's that for a big morale booster?

The title of the song in the video above was, "When They Come Back," which was great. Those that are back from the war(s) definitely need our support. But, that isn't the whole story, is it? How about those that are still over there? They need our support. They need our President's support. I hope that now that he Obamanated the 2016 Olympics, he may want to spend some time thinking about our military and their needs.

Mmmm mmm mmm. Barack the Olympic Failure. And, so? Big deal. Where he must not fail is in what to do with Gen. McCrystal's requests to avoid defeat. I sure hope he met with the General in Copenhagen as some in the media suggested.

For us, the loved ones of the troops, we'll be honoring those that have come back, those that didn't make it back, and those that are still there. The question is, will the President honor any of them?

This week on TheREALjohnny2k - 9/11 to 9/19/09

Being this is the first week I've done this, I am sure that some of the followers of this blog may not be aware that I have a youtube channel that goes by TheREALjohnny2k. Well, now you know. But, I know also that not everyone will have time to get to my channel as often as I upload my videos. For this reason, I've decided to start this weekly feature where every Sunday, when you get home from your worship services, you can stop by here and check out what I have added to the channel in the last week.

This week, I want to go back an extra couple days, starting with Friday, Sept. 11. I think when you see the video that starts this series off, you'll understand why I wanted to include it. Normally, though, it will be everything that has been added from the previous Sunday until Saturday.

Being this is the first week that I've done this, I am sure that there will be improvements and refinements to this weekly feature in the future. This is obviously still in the experimental stage, so let's just see how this goes. I am pretty sure that you will enjoy this opportunity to watch these videos. Most of the videos will be from news segments, though you may be surprised by something special from time to time, such as the first one you'll see today. I should also mention here that the length of the videos will usually be relatively short, from three to six minutes, so it won't take your whole day to get through them all. It will be rare for me to upload more than four or five videos in a week, though this first edition will have a few more since I'm going back an extra day or two.

So, are you ready? Great! Let's get started!

September 11, 2009 - America, I will always love you, and I will never forget

Suddenly, on a beautiful September day, our lives would change forever. In this video, I combine the memories of that day with a song about America's resolve, called "I will always love you." I put this together on 9/11/09 because I never will forget, and I never want to forget. I remember the day that I woke up to see these images on TV, over and over, for the whole day.

I guess the song that I have used for the background for this video says it all.

September 13, 2009 - Did you hear about the 9/12 Rally and March on Washington?

Millions of people not only knew about it, millions participated. Sure, not all of the participants were in Washington D.C., but I guarantee that many that couldn't go were down in the basements (or man-cave as I personally call it), and we were going to town. There was no excuse for the Mean Stream Media to have missed this story. And worse yet, the White House claimed that they didn't even know about it.

Do I smell a conspiracy here?

Now that the rampant Marxism in the White House is being exposed, it would be best not to mention anything so Soviet-sounding as "Czars". That just sounds so sinister. But, the liar was too late. They thought that they knew who we are.

They thought that they could just keep pulling the wool over our eyes.

No wonder. That seems to reflect the general and complacent wool-over-the-eyes attitude of the "sheople," doesn't it? "Why worry, we can't do nothin' 'bout it anyhow."

So, doesn't it make it pretty hard to figure that "10's of thousands" of us folks would be gathering in Washington, D.C. back on September 12th? No, of course, that can't make any difference, right? Is that why it wasn't covered by the "Meanstream Media?"

You see, we could literally show up on the streets of the Capitol, by the millions, and the majority of the people that see 10 minutes of "news" every week actually see.... uh, nothing.



I talked to way too many people that had no idea that the rally/march was even going on this last weekend. Some actually saw a blurb and maybe a picture, but they didn't really even know what it was about. And even the White House made an official statement saying that they weren't aware of the little gathering, as if it was going to be 50 people.

Of course, for those of us that actually follow what's going on, it is so difficult when we have our friends and relatives that are not aware of the uprising. I have people that are close to me that say they can not watch the news because "it is too negative all of the time. It is so depressing. I'll be happy to bury my head in the sand just so that I don't have to deal with it."

I can understand their frustration, after being bombarded with non-stop news about O.J., Britney, or Michael Jackson. As long as they are watching the MSM news, that's all they're going to get. It's the kind of news that sells.

Well, at least that is what they (the MSM) are still thinking. And that will be the one strategic blunder that brings down the progressives. They forgot about us. They forgot that many of us have the ability to write, or do what ever we can with our God-given abilities, and that know we can make a difference. Let me just give you a great example of what people on our side can do:



Anyone that doesn't know just how powerful that segment was is just not following along. There are many of us that get it. There are many of us that just want to be the Paul Revere type of people. We want you to figure it out now, rather than later.

There will be many of us that are going to be loud and clear.

You will hear plenty about what is going on, if you'll just take a minute or two to listen.

Silent no more. We are the MOB! Can you hear us now?

I will never forget

This story has been brewing in my mind all this week. Just a day or two ago, I really did not know where this story would take me, and you, in what I could and would write.

That was before I had the resolve to see the day through. But today, I saw the whole replay of the events of 9/11 from beginning to end. I could not help but to relive all the emotions I went through that dark morning. I just put together a video montage that says it all.



America, I will always love you, and I will never forget.

America, what happened to us? How could we forget? Were we not all together as one back in those dark days? Have we forgotten what we were like? How did we stray away from the attack on America that just for a moment, united us? How quickly did we forget what George W. Bush did to try to console us? He was the greatest President for those days after the attacks. I will never forget.



Yes, there WILL be justice when it all comes down to it. But in the mean time, for all of us that grieve, we must still stand together. We must never forget, we must unite, still to this day. We must never forget that day, and continue to defend freedom and justice. Good night, and God Bless America. Let's be 9/12ers, and be the way we were at that time. We just need to be America.

Maybe the Mean Stream Media should resign along with Van Jones!

"The Truth Is Out There" was the theme of a FOX TV show that was on in the 90's, known as "The X-Files." But it seems that the Mainstream Media (now to be called the Mean Stream Media) wasn't aware that there are people that would find the truth, despite the MSM effort to bury a story that would make their boss, Barack Hussein Obama, look bad.

Of course, it's already old news that at least one of the 30+ "czars" hired by the Barry (bury?) administration has resigned. That would be one Van Jones, the former so-called Green Jobs Czar. While that is an important story in itself, the rest of the story is just how the major networks had not touched the story prior to Friday, September 4, 2009. The coverage? Zero. Nada. Mum's the word.

So first, let's take a look at what Byron York was telling Clayton Morris on Sunday morning. I had captured tons of video on the news of the Van Jones early retirement story, but this segment was the one that focuses on how the MSM ignored the story of the Marxist in the White House. Here, follow along with me, let's check this out:

So, you see, the story regarding the Van Jones resignation wasn't just about allegations that Van the Man was tainted with left-wing, radical Marxist thinking. The really big story was that the state-run media avoided how such a person as Van Jones could even be hired to work for the Constitution-challenged Obama administration.

Oh, but wait, those on the left in the White House and the MSM wanted to do some major damage control, and make sure their minions knew that it was all about the right-wing smears and distortions. Ummm... Oh, really? Smears? Distortions by Van Jones' own words taken out of context? Sure, that's the ticket for the vast left-wing spin machine. Just so you know, that is not the truth. Let's just take a look at the REAL TRUTH from the now unemployed green jobs czar in his own words:

There is something that the mainstream media is not ever going to admit. Do you know what that is? I think that the left is finding out that their Saul Alinsky tactics may not be quite so affective any more. There are too many of us that are on to them. The Truth is out there, and there are patriots that are no longer afraid to put it all on the line to speak up. Like Byron York mentioned in the first video above, this isn’t the 50’s anymore. The Disney and GE and George Soros controlled left-wing media are finding out that many people are becoming well informed, and that we have skills, too, that make it possible for the Truth to be told. There was Aaron Klein and WorldNetDaily.com, and then Glenn Beck, and then the Conservative bloggers, and then the hoards on the social networks such as Twitter and Facebook… Well, you get the idea, right? The word – the Truth – got out. We the People are to be feared.

First, there were the Tea Parties. Next, there were the Town Hall Meetings. Then the Van Jones story that went viral in a heart beat. The meanstream media did all they could to demonize and marginalize those of us that decided that we weren’t going to take it anymore. They are finding out that, seriously, WE SURROUND THEM. And we haven’t even gotten to the 9/12 events yet!

Yes, the Truth Is Out There, but you won’t hear it from the state-run networks and leftist blogs, or even in Van Jones’ own words. Our side was persistent. Our side was pervasive in seeking the truth AND getting the word out. It took all of us. Not just Glenn Beck, Aaron Klein and WorldNetDaily.com. It was an all-out effort, and it was a sensational victory for the good guys.

Now you know why Obama needs the Cyber-Security Act of 2009 and another round of the Fairness Doctrine. He will need to shut us up. We'll defeat those efforts, too! Just keep fighting the good (and peaceful) fight. We need to keep waking up the sheople of America. We proved that it CAN be done!

To My Dear Loved Ones

A Message From John Kubicek

There is a price to pay when we stick out our necks. Okay, maybe not quite as harsh as the price paid during the French Revolution when heads rolled, but just the same... Sometimes, making difficult choices really hurt. I am finding that some of the sacrifices that I make really DO have ramifications. There are consequences in doing things that take time away from spending with my dear loved ones.

One of the things that I've mentioned to people lately is that, "If my current occupation doesn't keep me afloat financially, I guess I'll have to just settle for saving the country." And yet, it's really the truth about the life that I've been leading in the last few years. For now, I have a 40-hr week job, and I take pride in doing my best to serve my employer. But, then, I get home, and do my REAL work. I dedicate my "off hours" in trying to serve you, my readers. There is a lot of time and effort - again, giving 110% in doing what I do - and a little lack of sleep, but I do it for you.

Unfortunately, it has become difficult to fit in ample time with my loved ones. There's my (adult) children, parents, siblings, best friends, and my wonderful companion of the opposite gender. There doesn't seem to be enough time to distribute to everyone that mean everything to me. So, thus, this message. That's where this is coming from today. I have a great remorse for not being there for all those that would like more of my limited moments in life. I am so sorry that my attention couldn't be much more focused on you.

But now, let's just ask if the price that I'm paying is justified. Well, that could be a difficult question for a few people. So many of my dear loved ones really don't have time to follow the news. Or, the news is just so depressing (I couldn't agree more)! Or, how about this one: "There's not a thing I can do about it, so why even think about it?" Sound familiar? Well, that's actually the whole point of this column! There actually IS something you can do!

To my dear loved ones, here's the deal: Forgive me for the time I'm dedicating to what I feel is the right thing to do (to save this great country). It isn't easy. I need your support and encouragement and your prayers. I'm going to face some difficult times - I'm going to have to face the storm - because of the fact that I'm sticking out my neck for what I pray will be a better life for my loved ones. Just be there for me.

Dismiss the Threat at Your Own Peril

Is there a threat to our God-given liberty in the country once known as the United States of America? Nah, didn't think so! Or, really... do we have anything to worry about?

Well, honestly, if you answered the question(s) above with a "NO" - I guess I can relate somewhat to that. On September 10, 2001, many of us weren't thinking about what "could happen," right?

What? Planes flying into the towers or the Pentagon? Oh, that would be CRAZY to think that could or would ever happen!

So, with what I've wanted to tell you for a long time, I was just a little apprehensive about the recourse of divulging what I believe to be the greatest threat to our freedom since WWII started, and we were fighting Adolph Hitler and his minions. What I believe CAN happen, I knew, is very frightening. People just don't like the idea of "CHANGE" (and oh, do I really wish people would have thought about that a little more before the last election!). Because, here it is, a few "little changes" that might just mean a life very different than what you have known.

Let's just start with this one. A good buddy of mine on twitter.com, exposeliberals, had mentioned a story, "Keep your kids home September 8th," by Dana Loesch, which I of course checked out. When you read that story, you'll see something very insidious. Just listen to what Dana writes:

I wouldn’t have such a problem with the Department of Education were this presented in a non-Orwellian fashion. Oh yes, it is, as the lesson plan directs, to listen to what the president, the mayor, et al. says, to respect their “authoritah” ... but there is no emphasis in here on why the president and other elected officials should listen to US. The focus is solely on authority. There is no consideration given to the authority of the American people. That’s what concerns me.

There is this mindset that those in Washington are the “elite,” that we should mind our Ps and Qs and blindly follow their directives. That’s not the manner of governance upon which this country was founded – it is quite the opposite; even the hobbyist Constitutional aficionado appreciates this.

That's right. They want our kids to be disciplined little robots. I mean, how long is it before Barack the One starts preaching to our young little ankle biters on "Sesame Street"? Ummmmm...... I just report, you decide and answer that question. But to give you some further clues to what is going on, let me show you THIS video that I found today:



Yes, that's right, I just showed you similarities between Adolph and The One. Scary, isn't it? Oh, that's right... Surely, it's just some crazy stuff, there's plenty of ammo for those of the Alinsky-trained organizers to use to demonize and marginalize what I just exposed the WHOLE WORLD to (that is, until the Cyber Security Act of 2009 goes into affect... just sayin').



Hey, can't the act of criticizing the President, The One, get me in some big trouble? Could I now have a problem getting a gun permit or a passport, or even be banned from traveling to Great Britain? You know it!

Strangely enough, I had another fun thing to think about a bit ago (while waiting for my latest youtube video to upload, which strangely crashed with seconds to go before success in uploading). I need to take a preemptive approach in order to combat those that will try to villify, demonize and marginalize what I have written so far today. For those that may feel that I'm capitalizing on everything going on these days that threaten our freedom, forget about it.

No, I'm not part of some "astroturf machine". Nobody has yet paid me to write what I do (though I wish). There is no corporate conglomerate behind my efforts. Matt Drudge or Joseph Farah have yet to contact me to offer me a contract to write for them. Fox News is yet to hire me as a Fox News contributor, let alone, for an anchor position. Nope. I'm just your fly-over coutnry hayseed hick in the Hawkeye state. I'm just saying what I believe to be true. I'm just one of the grassroots patriots that is doing my part - with my God-given abilities - to save America. I just want to be able to continue to speak freely, and cling to my Bible and my gun. What has been going on with this country is scaring me out of my skin. And I hope I am writing loudly enough. I hope you are hearing me today.

Don’t Give Up, Even Though He’s Heavy (He’s My Big Brother)

I keep asking myself, "Is resistance futile?"

On one hand, I could say that I'm not worried, there are a few people out there like me that are going all out in order to save this country. With the Grace of God, we'll succeed, and we'll wake up many of the sheeple in America that were formerly oblivious to what is going on. God knows, I've tried my hardest.

But, on the other hand, what I see on a daily basis is people in America that are totally oblivious to what is going on. There are many sheeple out in the pasture for the wolves to prey on.

I'm tired, and would love to have a good day of sleep, but I feel I must keep on going. I've gotten to the point where I believe that America is hanging on the brink of tyranny. I'm not just believing that, but I'm feeling it right where it counts: In my wallet. That's the dose of reality that could eventually wake some of the sheeple up. But what counts is, could it be too late?

There are many people - patriots - that are now laying it all out on the line. Whether it is those that are at the top of Conservative talk radio like Rush, Hannity, or Beck, there are also those of us that would not have nearly as much to lose, but the risk of losimg it all still has the same outcome.

It has been hard to explain in just a short amount of space, in just one post, the overwhelming feeling that I am getting these days. I've been seeing the writing on the wall. Why, because I'm smart? No, just because I'm following what is going on in the world, and mostly in this country regarding politics. I see the power-grab politics that is going on, and it's making me quite uncomfortable.

Worst of all, there is the more insidious side of what I've come across while keeping on top of it all. I'm finding that the one side in power is finding many outlandish ways of staying on top. And it all has to do with finding ways around the Constitution of the United States. You need to know that our Bill of Rights has been in their sights, and they are going to intentionally water down our rights, little by little, like boiling a frog.

It is that fact that makes wonder if any type of resistance will soon become futile for those of us that still value freedom. It may not be "Check Mate" yet, but it's getting close. And the longer that people stick their head in the sand, the harder it is going to be for those of us that want to make a difference. Once the Obamacide team has it all together, with their Civilian National Security Force in place, along with their efforts to silence the talk radio realm... and if necessary, cut off the internet, well, folks, resistance may become next to impossible. It may just become futile if we don't keep working at it.

It won't be easy. But don't give up, even knowing what Big Brother can do to us. He will be heavy, because he IS our Big Brother!

Paul Revere Rides Again

"Tyranny is coming! Tyranny is coming!"

Wait, I guess that wasn't exactly what Paul Revere was saying, but somebody else that we all now know was shouting it in his own way. That's right. David Hedrick, Marine vet and star of the now viral video seen below, was giving us all patriotism arousal. That's a really good thing these days.



Anyone that hasn't seen the above video until now wasn't paying attention... Until now.

On Saturday night on twitter.com, I received several tweets concerning the video and the event above. When I first found out about this video, I knew it would be hitting big numbers. I didn't have any doubt that the videos would be going viral. Sure enough, FoxNews heard about it, and they talked about it on Fox & Friends Sunday morning. You betcha, I caught it:



Now isn't that just crazy? Can you imagine that? FoxNews went after the Marine Vet, David Hedrick, and ignoring most of what he said, they focused on his comments about Nancy Pelosi.

But as bad as that distortion was, what Fox News did was to bring heaps of attention on that Town Hall meeting with Rep. Brian Baird (D-WA). The people that end up watching that video are going to hear all of the cheering during Hedrick's "rant". And they will know, that is not the normal sound that the "sheeple" make! And, that is NOT manufactured!

I also want to give my kudos to Fox News for saying what the liberal side was trying to focus on. That's right, the liberals were the ones that actually brought up the Nazi connections in the first place. The Marine veteran, David Hedrick, said a lot more than what Fox News focused on.

Now just check out the following video of David's interview with Gretchen on Fox & Friends this morning. David didn't let us down. He should be a regular contributor on Fox News. i have to tell you, he was pretty impressive!



You see, we need to have Paul Revere ride again. Yes, guys like Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh have been the spokespersons for those of us that have been disenfranchised because of the normal corporate political correctness. But now, should for some reason the talk show hosts ever be silenced, it is guys like David Hedrick that can make that famous shout, "Tyranny is Coming! Tyranny is Coming!"

The Silencing of the Sheeple

I came up with the idea for this writing when I saw the following segment on Fox & Friends:



We all know that eventually, as we age, we come down with the CRS (Can't Remember Stuff) disease, but I was able to remember when those that protested the War In Iraq complained about being called unpatriotic because they disagreed with the war effort, especially in Iraq. That was back in the days when people still remembered the horrors of 9/11, and of course, anyone that complained about the course of action was just so unpatriotic. They were un-American. They were demonized. And the war protesters made a valid point that it was their right to speak out - even if they were part of the Code Pink minions.

But, isn't it weird that those same people, those who claimed their rights to speak up were being taken away, seem to be the same people that are now calling the Town Hall dissenters "mobs," and Tea Party participants "teabaggers?" The same mainstream media that criticized the Bush administration for calling those that dissented against the War on Terror as being unpatriotic, are now calling people that voice their dissent on health care reform (known as ObamaCare), "un-American."

Being called "un-American" isn't the only thing that we are now hearing about those that go to the town hall meetngs to stand up and speak up:

A few days ago, Joseph Farah wrote a column, "'Ridicule is man's most potent weapon'," where he explains why Saul Alinsky's fifth rule in his "Rules For Radicals" doesn't always work:

But I have news for the late Saul Alinsky. Those tactics may have served well the extremists of the past – in the short run. However, the ridicule of this campaign has been so over the top, so pervasive, so malignant and so obvious, it has backfired. The rules for radicals work well when radicals are not running things. But when the inmates take over the asylum, as they have in this country in the last six months, the old tactics of intimidation simply allow more people to see through the looking glass.

There are some in the media that aren't going to be reined in like good little sheeple. And it is apparent that the ridicule won't stop some citizens from speaking up, and saying what they want to say to the politicians at the town hall meetings.

So, when ridicule doesn't work to silence the sheeple, the big question is, what tactics will those in D.C. and their state-run media use to quell the dissent? No, they wouldn't resort to thuggery, would they? Ah, c'mon, it would be crazy to believe that would ever happen! Oh, wait...

When the tea party rallies were taking place last spring, the radical left occupying the White House, the liberals in Congress, and the state-run media claimed that those who attended were organized by the Republican Party or FoxNews. And let's not forget the maligning ridicule such as Janine Garofalo's name-calling, using the derogatory label of "tea-baggers." Janet Napolitano's Department of Homeland Security then added to the cacophony, with the report that claimed most of the people with Conservative values were right-wing extremists and a domestic terrorist threat.

Add those events to what is now going on at the town hall meetings regarding Health Care Reform (ObamaCare), there seems to be a frightening pattern of malignment of those who wish to speak up. As seen above, when the claims of those who are speaking up were manufactured ("astroturf") - organized "mobs" - didn't work, they moved on to claiming that the people speaking up at the town hall meetings were racists, and even dangerous. It even went to the point, as in Mike Sola's case, where he received a threat to him and/or his family after he had confronted Rep. John Dingell (D-MI). The question is now, will the tactics of the left be escalated any further?

Unfortunately, there is an answer to that question which sends chills up my spine. You see, the Obama administration and the leftist crew in Congress have an agenda. They are determined to see that agenda get passed into law. It's pretty apparent to us these days that the "sheeple" are not going to be allowed to get in the way. I believe that the radical left will stoop even lower in order to silence any dissent. I know it may sound outrageous, but I am beginning to believe that the Obama minions will do what ever it takes. That's just my opinion, but certainly seems plausible, considering all that is at stake.

It would only take one act of violence at one of the town hall meetings, by somebody that could be tied to any "right-wing extremist group" - what is called a "patsy" - and all of us sheeple who dissent will be discredited. Worse yet, it could give our goverment an excuse to suspend many of our rights, especially our 1st Amendment rights.

Freedom is important, and I do not want you to forget. So, let me just remind those of you that may have forgotten what tyranny is all about.

"Manufactured" Opposition Building

While in the process of working on this piece, I continued to see additional evidence that I would have liked to include here. I was watching Fox News. Yes, they ARE fair and balanced; and I was continuously bombarded with the MSM disinformation that the uprising at town hall meetings is "manufactured" or orchestrated.

Today, you are going to learn something new. There is "manufacturing" going on, for sure, but it isn't being done by who they are telling you is doing it. In fact, it is the very people that are talking about the "astroturfed" uprising that are being scripted to spread that lie. Simply said, there is no orchestrating going on. It is genuine outrage, period.



There are a multitude of events going on at this time regarding the "ObamaCare" health care plan. Suddenly, people are going out to the town hall meetings with their U.S. Representatives while they are on recess. It is amazing, because the people that are showing up are the ones who are waking up. People are getting involved in droves, that at one time were content to stay home and watch "Dancing with the Stars" or "NCIS."

But suddenly, in the last few weeks, there is the new paradigm. Those who were once content with life are finding that their lives are going to change (just as promised during the campaign last year). Many of the folks showing up at the town hall meetings, and raising their voices, started reading their emails, and clicking to the links that friends had sent them. They talked to their family, friends, and their neighbors. They started learning the truth. And what they have been learning is that the truth is not pretty. It isn't what they could call "hope."

And in the mean time, the Democrats have been manufacturing something very sinister, and that is the LIE that the "sheeple" are being influenced in some nationally coordinated effort... You know, like those pesky community organizers would do. But, it IS a lie, because the only thing that is happening is that enough people have access to the actual bill, and the word is getting out. The hostility is not the work of community organizers from the "right-wing extremists," there is no "orchestrating" done on the side of the opposition. It is just that people are becoming informed. They are learning the truth.

The biggest coordinated effort comes from the Democrats in trying to convince the public that the opposition is being organized by the "evil" Republicans that want to keep you from getting health care, the tragic crisis that is being generated by those on the left. In fact, their effort is laughable, or would be, if it wasn't so sad that so many people have been indoctrinated to believe that only the government can provide for all of their needs.

Thanks to a very good friend on twitter.com, I learned of what Sarah Palin had to say about the current debate on the health care plan. In her statement, she mentioned that "Such a system is downright evil" at one point. Those words came in the context of the fact that bureaucrats, the "death panel," would make medical decisions based on the patient's "level of productivity in society, whether they are worthy of health care." (Report me now to the White House Snitch Line.)

While the good former Governor of the Great State of Alaska was at it, she also linked to a fantastic video of Rep. Michelle Bachman in action:



If there is any one point that I want you to remember from this post, is that the "uprising" is not nationally coordinated. The truth is, people are becoming informed. People are visiting our blogs and videos, reading their emails, or just talking to their neighbors. The powers that be in Washington are getting scared, because they can no longer depend on their cohorts in the mainstream media to indoctrinate the public. There is just too much available information on the web, and people are seeing it, and sharing it with others, including those that don't even have internet access.

The "enraged mobs" are not part of a nationally coordinated effort. The uprising is not an "astroturf" job by evil health insurance companies or Republicans. The citizens' concerns - NO, I mean the FEARS - are not being manufactured by the Republican party or anyone else. The only thing being "manufactured" are the lies by the Democrats. They have to resort to blaming the town hall meeting disturbances all on somebody in order to cover their very evil agenda. (Report me now to the White House Snitch Line, because I am the M.O.B.)

Then So Be It... I'm a Birther

There is no doubt in my mind - EVER - that God leads us to doing what we need to do when it is His plan. I have had that experience over the last few weeks, where the directions my life has taken have lead me to new destinations, and not part of my plan, but because of His plan for me. I can give testimony to that, as what I thought I would be doing just a month ago has completely changed. The changes in my life plans came upon me from influences from outside of my own control. And I know God had a very big part in how things are working out.

And with that being said, I want to do what I can to explain, and to answer your immediate questions, the first one being, "what do my personal life changes have to do with the overwhelming world events that I want to write about?"

Let me start with when I wrote, "Don't Give Up" back on July 26. I had this feeling that day when I was writing. I knew that something was happening in my mind and my heart that seemed to be lifting me up, and getting me out of that rut I was in. Of course, much of what inspired me that day came from the music video that Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush had produced... and the many, many times that I have watched and listened to and shared with the people that I love. I don't know, maybe it was those words that Kate sung, "You worry too much." Or, maybe, it was when I realized that I was just a "crumb," something that could possibly be misconstrued into thinking that I was "nothing," but believe me, I think a lot of people out there actually got the point, as the comments I received have confirmed.

The one thing I had learned from these last few days was, let your heart not be concerned, God has it all under control. We worry too much.

In saying that, I'm meaning that there is that possibility that maybe some of us are worried too much that Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen. Is he, or is he not? Well, no matter what, and no matter how the truth is hidden at this time, it will come out.

I sure don't want people that I love to take what I've just said the wrong way. I have a great amount of respect for my friends at WorldNetDaily.com. My friends there, like Joseph Farah and Jerome Corsi, have been under a great amount of attack by the mainstream media. All they are doing has been pursuing the truth. That's all they are doing. And I am right there with them. I've been following this amazing story for quite awhile, and I have to say that I've understood the doubts that some have in their minds. Those that have their doubts have been called "birthers." But yet, much of the evidence, combined with the unpopular concerns about Barack Obama's birth place, are continuously denigrated by many people in the media.

Maybe we worry too much. Yes, I was worried that should it be found that the President was not constitutionally eligible to be President, there would be huge problems should he have to be relieved of his duties. Not to mention the fact that I would worry about this country if Joe Biden had to assume the duties of the presidency, I also determined that there may be a great deal of civil unrest... and we know where that could lead.

The other thing that we could worry about is even more profound. Don't we deserve to know that there is no question about the eligibility question? Do we need to be worrying about that, in an obsessive way, while the Obama administration is using that issue to take our attention away from the way this country is going?

Like a good friend reminded me recently, it isn't a good thing if the good old magician trick - the old slight-of-hand, where our attention is kept on one hand, while the other hand is doing something else - and they could be turning this country towards Socialism while our attention is turned elsewhere. That's not a good thing. I have to agree with him.

The interesting thing - and the bad news - is that Obama's staff knows those things. The last thing they would want would be investigative journalists on the WorldNetdaily.com staff, or anywhere else on the web, to be concentrating their efforts on the things that Obama and the Democratic Congress are doing to us. The point my friend made was that if they could discredit all that the truth seekers are doing, so that when the evidence is provided of what Obama's plans are, nobody would believe it. And I agree. My friend is very wise.

The proof of what I just wrote is very evident for those that are watching the news, that those who oppose the "birther" questions want the issue to go away. And yet, maybe that is what they want us to believe, because it is such an easy diversion from what is going on. They know that discrediting Joseph Farah and others will protect that other agenda, keep the attention off of the truth by great investigative journalists, whether or not Obama is qualified to be President of the United States. It could be just a trap, and I've also joined my fellow patriots in falling into it if that is the case.

The scary thing is, though, is that if somebody is seekiing the truth, should we just give up because many others are trying to demean us? The answer is: NO! Emphatically, I tell you, we should not give up in seeking truth. Once that point comes when we have to be afraid to want the truth, we SHOULD be afraid. So be it, I want to know the truth, and if that makes me a "birther," I'll accept that label. I refuse to just look down at the river running below as if I was going to give up. I refuse to just look the other way. And I know that Joseph Farah knows what I'm saying. I guess you can say I, along with Farah, need not to "worry too much" about what others say about about our concerns.

Don't worry too much! Don't give up on seeking the truth, it will set you free. And so be it. I'll be content to be a "birther" if that is what it takes to know the truth.

Don't Give Up!

In the last few days, I felt like I was in a rut. It was like all I do is go to work and then come home to the same old things, more or less. There's the dishes to do, laundry, cooking my supper, taking care of my dog Moochie and my cat RC, check and respond to email, occasionally doing a little cleaning or working out in the yard, and running errands every now and then. However, before you think I live a very dull life, I should let you now that isn't all I do. In fact, I do a lot more than that, and it is the extra projects that I'm working on that seemed to be making me feel like I was just spinning my wheels in life. Please allow me to explain.

Since the latter part of the previous century, I was seeing a very frightening trend in America where too many Americans were becoming amazingly complacent about the meaning of "the land of the free," and where this country was headed. It seemed to me that people were too willing to allow the government to become their nanny, and that we were no longer able to do things for ourselves. Personal responsibility for our own lives was being relegated to the dust bins of history, because it was expected that the government (Federal, state and local) would take care of our problems. And meanwhile, moral decay has been taking a firmer grip on society; not just in America, but everywhere in the world.

When I first started learning of the things that were going on, there were no personal computers or the Internet. In order for me to help spread the word about what was happening, I was dependent on personal and group vocal presentations and sharing audio cassette tapes,and eventually VCR tapes and CD's. On January 1, 2000, I started my website, johnny2k.com. A couple of years later, I got my forums going. My whole purpose was to be able to spread the idea of Freedom. My original focus began with trying to spread financial freedom by taking advantage of the good old free enterprise system. That's right, good ol' capitalism.

Along came the Internet. First, everyone set themselves up with an email account. Many of the more tech-savvy people out there then discovered the domain names they could get to have an "online presence." It didn't take long after that for people to discover forums, chat rooms, blogs, and now the social websites. I was one of those people, though usually a year or two behind the initial waves. Hey, but at least I do it now!

It wasn't long before I discovered that information dispersal was absolutely dependent on information retrieval. Well, no problem. I turned myself into a news junkie. I'm actually overwhelmed with the amount of information that I can consume in a short amount of time. And the fact is, despite my efforts, I can not possibly share all that I learn with the masses like I would want to. There doesn't seem to be enough time.

Clearly, when you think about all the others that are out there in cyberspace, there are a lot of players competing for the hearts and minds, and especially the eyes, of the potential audience - consumers - of the ideas that they desire to promote. And, I am one of them in the competition. That's where the problem began. I was aware of the fact that I am just a crumb amongst all of those out there. That revelation was damaging, as feeling like a little bitty crumb in the scheme of things meant that I could spend the rest of my life in obscurity and being limited to the obscenely meager income of my current job.

I have to admit, I was experiencing the reality of any of my hopes and dreams being crushed like Obama did to a fly. I honestly have to confess that I was wondering if there was any reason to keep on fighting. But then, last night, a good friend on twitter and blip.fm shared a great song with me. I guess we could say that this song hit the nail on the head. it was just what I needed to hear (and read). It taught me something. It's okay being just one of the crumbs. In fact, it also told me that while I may be just a crumb, it's important for me to keep doing what I'm doing, and hopefully touching one more person. That's it. That's all. But remember, we're NOT alone. There's a place where we belong. I'm not giving up!

The Commercial You Will Never See Again

The video from jokecrib on Youtube.com takes me back to when I was a kid and there were commercials on TV that haven't been allowed for many, many years, for cigarettes. Some of them were the best ever commercials. I loved the Marlboro Man... Or, remember this one? "I'd rather fight than quit" (Terryton).

You see, those ads worked in my case. And that is not necessarily a good thing, for obvious reasons. I hate to ruin your day, but the sad truth is that I am still addicted to cigarettes. I've been hooked for many years, and it all started when I was just a kid, watching those cigarette ads.

I am all for First Amendment rights and free enterprise, but there are times when the government has to step in if it is found that a commercial is for a hazardous product or service. In the case of the commercials for cigarettes, the mandate to make the tobacco companies stop advertising on TV came way too late.

Somebody just alerted me to the following video, which is what got this rant started. I decided that if I was going to share it with you, I needed to make sure you knew that I wished that I had never started smoking to begin with.

You know when you are winning, in the great battle for hearts and minds, when the other side has to lower themselves to the point of having to demean their opponents. And one more time, as would be expected, a liberal has to try to call the Governor of Alaska "dumb". Oh, how so original!

So, I'm watching Hannity tonight, and Sean and his panel are talking about Sonia Sotomayor, and the Senate hearings on Tuesday. However, out of nowhere, one of the panelists, left-wing Hollywood liberal Tom Arnold comes up with a slam on Governor Sarah Palin. It was completely off the topic. He had to slip it in, because that is what liberals know how to do best. They're all about denigrating the opposition. This had to do with Sarah's column that the Washington Post posted on Tuesday, "The 'Cap And Tax' Dead End" ~ By Sarah Palin.

I think that you should see this segment to get the gist of what I'm saying:



Let me ask: Do you see what is going on here? Do we dare question "the authorities?" Do we dare to say that man-caused global warming is not only a myth, but a dangerous and criminal scam on America? Can we dare to call a duck a duck, and mention that Barack Hussein Obama may not be qualified to be President of the United States under the eligibility requirements of the Constitution in Article 2, Section 1? How dare we ask him to produce his long-form birth certificate!

And while he may not even be constitionally eligible to be the President of the United States, he is purposefully... intentionally... and with malice aforethought, destroying this country economically. It is amusing to see how bad a person could be torn to shreds for suspecting that Obama could be a globalist, not to mention, a Marxist... even when it would seem to be true.

For over two years, I had submitted many stories from WorldNetDaily.com on to digg.com. Many of the articles I submitted were by Joseph Farah, Pat Boone and Chuck Norris. Rarely were there any negative comments on those threads that weren't completely derogatory regarding the authors. Those negative comments didn't discuss why the column was wrong in their opinion, other than saying the writer was irrelevant or in some way lacking intelligence.

There are so many more examples that I can produce to make my point. Where would I even start? Would it be with the way atheists disparage Christians? The way that Perez Hilton ridiculed Carrie Prejean for her courageous act of saying what she believes? And of course, I'd want to mention David Letterman's derisive joke about Sarah Palin's family not too long ago. But the most extreme illustration in supporting my case is during those eight years when George W. Bush was President. There was never any end to the contemptuous, disdainful rhetoric regarding the President's speaking gaffes.

Im hoping that Governor Sarah Palin, soon to be a private citizen, will understand that no matter what she does now, she will be be continuously assailed on a very personal basis. But there is a positive thing to come from the situation if she handles it right. All she needs to be able to do is deal with it, and teach us "tea-bagging rednecks from fly-over country that cling to our guns and bibles" that we will be attacked, too, and that is just what the detracters will continue to do.

So what do we need to learn? It's easy: Just consider the source!

If that isn't possible for you to develop a thick skin and ignore the guffaws from the cheap-shot section, then you better learn how to conform to the worldly vision of how America should be. When you are attacked for expressing your values, just consider the source, and brush it off. Some of the barbs that get shot our way will hurt. Get used to it, or get out of the battle.

Joe Biden: Mark my words...

I just returned from my one day retreat in Madison, Wisconsin, and a night off from work, to celebrate my "Christmas In July," my annual celebration of when I was given life, and when the Unites States was born.

The first four days of July, though, is my favorite time of the year, second only to the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. Anyway, it was very nice to get away for a day. I greatly enjoyed my annual retreat up to Madison, especially since I had to miss the trip last year, somewhat due to the horrible Flood of 2008 in Cedar Rapids and nearly $4.00/gallon gasoline... and no job. I'm back home now, and need to get right back to work.

So, let's get started with this: Over the last months, I've been wondering what Joe Biden was talking about with his famous statement that he made in October of 2008, during the Presidential campaign, when talking to campaign contributors, as transcribed by Fox News from the Hannity and Colmes on October 21, 2008:

So, assuming that Joe-the-gaff-machine was talking about Obama's first 6 months in office, I wanted to know what he may have been talking about, when he said: "I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate." While the story about Biden's "prophesy" was widely covered, I think very few people realized what Biden said really wasn't that big of a head scratcher. Senator Joe Lieberman said it best: "SEN. JOE LIEBERMAN (I), CONNECTICUT: Our enemies will test the new president early. 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration." You see, Biden's comment was more of a statement of fact, rather than a prophesy. Most of our Presidents have been tested in the area of foreign policy early in their first term.

And here we have North Korea being overtly aggressive in "testing," as in possibly two nuclear tests, and their multiple missile tests (including the four short range missiles they launched today). That certainly seems to be testing Obama to see how he reacts. (I haven't seen anything from him other than a rare statement from various government spokesmen.)

And then, Obama is also dealing with the situation(s) in Iran. One situation is the good possibility that Iran's nuclear program could be covertly directed toward a weapons program, though Iran insists that it is for a "peaceful" reasons, for nuclear power plants. (Obama seems to have done nothing yet, other than to offer a little insignificant rhetoric that hasn't made any difference.)

Of course, there are also the demonstations following the election in Iran. (See above; and Obama really never came out and supported the citizenry of a tyrannical Iran... and now, it is barely covered in the news media. Is the situation over? Or, did the tyrannical Mullahs of Iran just stomp out any dissent?)

The jury is still out when it comes to how Obama handles or has handled these situations. But mark my words, remember I wote it here, if you don't remember anything else I wrote here (like about my annual retreat to Madison, Wisconsin), "Watch, we are going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. He's going to have to make some really tough — I don't know what the decisions will be — but I promise you, it will occur." And this could happen in the next few weeks, or even days.

This might be a good time to quit being obsessed with Michael Jackson, or other fallen stars (either the celebrities that have assumed room temperature or the Govenor that ran off to Argentina), and start watching how Obama is handling plenty of world events that may be of great danger to our national security. It's time to be following these events that may be potential threats to this nation. We can not afford to be burying our heads in the sand.

I think it's time to also be praying, both for the recently deceased celebrities, and for the decisions that Barack Obama has to ultimately make. We must pray that the "brilliant 47-year-old president of the United States of America" makes the right decisions when he is tested (in progress now).
